Car parking places orders

Off-street parking places orders allow us to regulate the car parks within the district.

We have started the formal process to make a variation to our off street parking order to add the new Money Hill car park, the process started on 3 April and will end on the 2 May.  

The reasons for the variations is to create a new car park which will provide 150 new parking spaces for the town of Ashby de la Zouch, there will be a mix of long and short stay parking. The charging tariff will be the same as the Ashby de la Zouch tariff, this will be reviewed as part of the upcoming Car Parking review. A Solar Hub will also be installed shortly after the car park opens which will provide EV charging for up to 12 electric vehicles.
