Community profiles

We have specific duties under the Equality Act 2010, to publish equality information - that we must then use to help shape services and policies.

The three main aims of the Equality Act 2010 duties are to:

• Eliminate  unlawful discrimination harrassment and victimisation and any other conduct prohibitied under the Act
• Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it
• Foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it.  

This is the data we hold and use as part of either policy or service development/ decommissioning.
