Changing Rooms Comes To Donisthorpe Youth Club

Project summary

Floor to ceiling wall tiles, beige floor tiles, communal shower facilities and exposed plumbing and pipe work, no this is not the local football team's changing room but Donisthorpe Youth Club - and no we are not joking!

Three years ago local residents and young people started Donisthorpe Youth Club, and with no place to call home we were very fortunate to be offered a place in a disused changing room.

Three years on we have grown from strength to strength and provide a much needed and well supported youth service to the young people of Donisthorpe and surrounding area.

Now we are well established we need to bring our facility up to standard and beyond, we desperately need to refurbish and make our home fit for purpose and fit for young people.

This funding will mean so much to the young people of Donisthorpe now and in years to come.

This will give them their own safe place in the community, a place where they can have fun, talk to others, receive support and learn new skills.
