Leave: 34,969
Turnout: 78%
Total number of ballot papers rejected: 27
North West Leicestershire District Council is responsible for counting the votes in this district only.
We started verifying and counting votes as soon as the polls closed at 10pm on Thursday 23 June.
We have confirmed our result with the East Midlands count collation centre, which will in turn provide the regional result to the national centre in Manchester where the overall result will be declared.
