Project summary
This project will transform a public open space into a road safety educational area, specifically aimed at children aged 18 months to 11 years. This project will create an educational, safe and fun environment for children to learn to ride bikes and scooters. Such an area doesn't currently exist elsewhere in the district.
Learning through play is the principle that supports this project, the area will be designed by replicating commonly seen road markings and signs. This project provides a safe introduction to simple road safety, away from vehicles and traffic.
