Microchipping

Having your dog microchipped will benefit not only you but also your dog. Whether it's a new puppy or an older dog there are two things you should consider:

1. Should your dog be picked up by one of our dog wardens, s/he will be routinely scanned. If a chip is detected we will contact Pet-log and request the owner's details. Providing the details are up to date, our dog warden will return the dog to its home rather than being taken to the kennels. This will not only be less stressful for your dog but it will also save you money in terms of fines.
2. Having your dog microchipped is not as expensive as you might think. We provide a low cost microchipping service - just £16.50 and we will come to your home.
3. From 6 April 2016 it became law that all dogs are required to be microchipped

It costs just £16.50 to have your dog microchipped, and we come to your home, which is less stressful for your dog and more convenient for you. 

Neutering

You may also like to consider having your pet neutered. This is beneficial in a number of ways including the prevention of unwanted litters and in the case of dogs straying.
