What is happening with the club and who is helping?
Scotlands Park Bowls club was first formed in the 1960's with the first recorded club championships taking place in 1963. The club had a successful history running all the way up until 2018, when sadly the club took the decision to close down. Since then the site has been out of action.
Now, North West Leicestershire District Council are working with Bowls Leicestershire and local residents to re-form the club providing another community asset that can be used to support the health and wellbeing of local people.
The club has now launched and is looking for interested members.
