Your collection dates may change slightly over the Christmas and New Years weeks.
Please see below for how your collections may change.                                                

General waste collections

If Your general waste collection date is:

Christmas Week 
On Tuesday 24 December it will be Monday 23 December
On Wednesday 25 December it will be Monday 23 December
On Thursday 26 December it will be Tuesday 24 December
On Friday 27 December it will be Friday 27 December (no change)

New Years week
On Tuesday 31 December it will be Monday 30 December
On Wednesday 1 January it will be Monday 30 December
On Thursday 2 January it will be Thursday 2 January (no change)
On Friday 3 January it will be Friday 3 January (no change)

Recycling collections

Unfortunately, due to the tight timings and how the dates fall in combination with limited resources available, our recycling collections will be split over two days.

If your glass, paper and card or plastics and cans collection date is:

Christmas week 
On Monday 23 December it will be Monday 23 December or Tuesday 24 December.
(Please present on Tuesday if your recycling bin was not emptied Monday)

New Years week
On Monday 30 December it will be Monday 30 December (no change)

We offer a trade recycling and refuse collection service for the following items:

• Mixed paper and cardboard
• Mixed plastic, cans, tins and foil
• Glass
• Refuse (general waste)

Collection prices

We price all our collections on a standard weekly cost which includes:

• Hire of the container
• One empty
• Disposal costs
• Controlled Waste Transfer note.
