UK parliamentary (general) election - Thursday 4 July 2024

The general election will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024 between 7am and 10pm 

The district of North West Leicestershire is covered by two parliamentary constituencies:

• North West Leicestershire

• Hinckley and Bosworth.

It was previously one constituency.

Voters in each constituency will elect a Member of Parliament (MP).

North West Leicestershire District Council is responsible for administering the elections in the parliamentary constituency North West Leicestershire.

The election for the Hinckley and Bosworth constituency is being administered by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council.

Eligibility to vote

To vote in this election, you must:

• Be registered to vote
• Be 18 or over on the day of the election
• Be a British, Irish or a citizen of a qualifying Commonwealth country and
• Be resident at an address in the constituency or
• Be living abroad and registered as an overseas voter.
