Monitoring in and around the AQMA
Diffusion tube monitoring
The council has several diffusion tubes located in and around Castle Donington. Details on the location of Diffusion tubes is available on the NO2 Diffusion Tube page
Automatic Monitoring
The council had, with the aid of funding from DEFRA, installed an Automatic monitor at Bondgate. The monitor is more accurate than NO2 diffusion tubes and will allow for a more reliable assessment of air quality in Castle Donington. The monitor was removed may 2014
Data from the monitor is available from the Air quality Automatic monitoring page
