Monitoring in and around the AQMA

Diffusion tube monitoring 

The council has several diffusion tubes located in and around Copt Oak.  Details on the location of Diffusion tubes is available on the NO₂ Diffusion Tube page

Automatic Monitoring

The council had, with the aid of funding from DEFRA, installed a realtime monitor at End Cottage, Whitwick Road. The monitor is more accurate than NO₂ diffusion tubes and allowed for a more reliable assessment of air quality in Copt Oak. The monitor was removed in May 2012
