All premises will be inspected before the licence is granted. The inspector will be looking to make sure the applicant has the correct knowledge and measures in place. The inspector will use the following table to determine the duration of the licence (1,2 or 3 years) and a star rating from 1-5 (for businesses only). If the applicant is not happy with the decision, they can make improvements to address highlighted issues, and ask for re-inspection.
