Dennis, Clock & ContainersCollection times: Tuesday to Friday, 6am until 6pm

Use your postcode or address to see when your next bin collection is.

You can also put your postcode or type your address into the 'My location' box on this page.

Waste collection calendars are available to view and download at the bottom of this page. You can also view your collections using the 'My Location' search box across our website.

Putting your bins and recycling containers out

  • Please make sure your bins and recycling containers are out by 6am on the correct collection day (or put them out the night before)
  • Please put your bins and recycling containers at the edge of your property next to the road so they are highly visible and accessible to our collection crews
  • Please remove your bins and recycling containers as soon as possible after collection, before noon/midday on the day after collection so they don't block access for pavement and footpath users.

Bins remain property of the council but you're responsible for their upkeep and safe keeping. If you lose or damage your bin, we may charge you to replace it.

Order extra or replacement recycling containers

Disabled, elderly or other vulnerable residents who are unable to move their bins and containers could benefit from our assisted collection service.

Service changes

As our crews complete their scheduled work on Tuesdays to Fridays, there are no disruptions to the service on Bank Holiday Mondays. The crews also work on Good Friday, so there is no disruption at Easter.

Our collection service will only be disrupted at Christmas. We'll publicise this information but you can also find out when your collection is by using the 'My Location' search box on this page.

Occasionally when collections have been missed, we may return to empty bins and containers on a weekend or Monday. We'll update our recycling news webpage with this information.
