Created on the former Donisthorpe Colliery, the site has been reclaimed to create a picturesque new landscape that is accessible for all. An area of approximately 50 acres which has been planted with around 74,000 trees. The surface paths are suitable for walking and has cycle routes to suit all abilities, meandering around this transformed site. Part of the Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail linking Measham, Moira Furnace and Conkers Waterside.

Disabled visitors: Some routes are suitable for disabled visitors, other routes have
gradients over 1:20 and wheelchair users may need assitance.
