If you are having conflict and constant arguments with the people you live with, then we might be able to help - for free.
Mediation is for people - they could be family members, guardians or friends - who are no longer willing to accommodate a member of their household.
With the help of a trained mediator, everyone involved has a chance to talk about what is bothering them. The mediator will work through everyone’s differences and try to come up with solutions that work for everyone.
Mediation could be useful in these situations:
- Where partners have issues which are non-violent
- A young person who is constantly arguing with and parents, step-parents or guardians
- Friends who are house sharing but constantly fall out about household tasks.
A mediator will arrange an appointment to visit people in their own homes or another suitable location.
At the first meeting the mediator will explain the process.
Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process - it will be you, not the mediator, who will decide the terms of agreements reached.
