Local Plan possible contents consultation - summer 2014

In summer 2014, we asked local people, businesses and organisations what they thought should be included in the Local Plan.

This included things like where jobs and businesses should be located, how we would protect green spaces and how many houses we need to build.

This consultation has now ended, but you can still read about it in the Local Plan information leaflet:

You can see the full list of what we proposed should be included in the Local Plan in the 'North West Leicestershire Local Plan - possible contents' document (please note, this may now have changed following feedback we received from the consultation.)

Informal consultation with parish and town councils

We have informally consulted with all parish and town councils on the draft revised Limits to Development and Town Centre Boundaries

Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) consultation - summer 2014

We also consulted on our Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) during summer 2014.

We asked local people how they thought we should engage and consult with different organisations, businesses and residents while we prepare the Local Plan and also when our Planning Committee decides on planning applications.

This consultation ended in September 2014, but you can still read the draft Statement of Community Involvement.
