Community start-up programme

North West Leicestershire District Council are looking to work with community groups in the area to support projects which add value to the area and bring ideas to life. We are looking to set up partnerships and work together to make projects or clubs sustainable in the longer term. 

We are looking to work with up to 6 community groups to support initial start-up costs to the value of £500 per project. This may include initial set-up costs, marketing, ongoing training, equipment or additional investment.We are particularly keen to hear from residentswho are inactive, have low activity levels or struggle to access opportunities to be active.  

How do I apply?

If you have a project that could be eligible for our Community Start-Up Programme, please complete the Expression of Interest Form using the link below. 

All forms should be completed by Thursday 30th November. Responses will be evaluated by an internal panel and responses sent out following this.
