Submission Consultation

Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has submitted the Ashby de la Zouch Neighbourhood Plan Review (2025) to the District Council. In accordance with Section 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, we are now consulting on the neighbourhood plan and would like your comments. The consultation period lasts for six weeks from Monday 7 April to 11.59pm on Monday 19 May 2025.

Remember, responses must be received by North West Leicestershire District Council by the 11.59pm on Monday 19 May 2025.

Next steps 

Once the consultation has closed, the neighbourhood plan documents and the comments received will be sent to the independent Examiner appointed to hold the Examination into the Neighbourhood Plan Review.  From there on, it is down to the Examiner to decide how the Examination should proceed.  

Pre-submission Consultation

In 2022 Ashby de la Zouch Town Council decided to review its made Neighbourhood Plan.  Consultation on a draft version of the Neighbourhood Plan Review ran between  5 August and 23 September 2024.
